SuSolutions provides individual coaching to non-native English speakers to improve their English used in their work.
In the first session, an assessment of your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills is performed to identify the main areas for improvement.
The lessons are then tailored to help you perfect your English in these areas using the types of communication required for your job. For example, sending business emails, holding meetings, delivering presentations.
Your progress will be checked along the way and you decide on the number of lessons you need.
Coaching includes:
- your use of English in the workplace. For example, understanding accents and tone of voice, recognising intonation, the use of vocabulary, idioms, phrases and expressions, written and oral fluency, pronunciation and grammar.
- your communication skills in the English speaking workplace. For example, structuring of written communication, delivering effective presentations, becoming a confident speaker, building rapport with colleagues, using and recognising non-verbal cues.
SuSolutions is a Sydney-based service and can provide on-site coaching for Sydney based professionals and remote coaching for all other locations via Skype, WhatsApp or FaceTime.
SuSolutions provides coaching for junior staff through to senior executives, and from Intermediate through to Advanced students of English.
Qualifications
Susan, the principal SuSolutions coach, is CELTA and TESOL IV certified and a native English speaker. She speaks multiple languages and is a grammar queen. She has a B.Sc. Science (with Honours), majoring in Physics & Applied Mathematics.
She enjoys helping other people and is very, very patient.
Most importantly, she has over 25 years of international business experience in consulting and industry (financial services, insurance, telecommunications), has held senior managerial and executive positions in IT and Operations, and has deep expertise in project and program management.
